URW President's Letter

Dear Upstate Republican Women,

It's a new year, a fresh start, an opportunity for change. Just weeks from now, our country will be on a new path with a brilliant businessman at its helm and a wise and politically accomplished leader at his side.

Now there is hope for the unborn child, conservative Supreme Court appointments, the nation of Israel, and our financial well-being.  After 8 years of liberal leadership in the White House, we have the opportunity to restore what was lost: our country's standing as a leader among nations.

When we cast our votes on November 8, 2016, we let our voices be heard about who we wanted in our country's highest office. Now President-elect Donald Trump has the high honor and huge responsibility as the 45th President of the United States of America to lead our country in a new direction. But we as citizens also have responsibilities -- to educate ourselves and stay informed about the workings of our government at every level so that we can form proper opinions and take right actions to uphold our conservative beliefs.

One good way to stay politically informed is by joining us at our URW monthly luncheons. Each luncheon features one or more speakers that will raise your political awareness and bring you the information you need to support South Carolina and our nation as a whole.  I challenge you to commit to joining us each month at these meetings so that we can learn and grow together as responsible citizens of both our state and our country!

Your URW president,
Donna Gottschall

Upstate Republican Women
wish to congratulate
our South Carolina politicians for being named to
President-elect Donald Trump's administration!

Governor Nikki Haley -- Ambassador to the United Nations
Representative Mick Mulvaney -- Budget Director

And congratulations to Lt. Governor Henry McMaster on becoming South Carolina's new governor!

Our February luncheon meeting will feature Phillip Kilgore,
Greenville Water Commissioner.

Mr. Kilgore will share with us the 100 year plan for Greenville County.
