Alexander Elementary Updates
Teacher Treats were handed out on 01/24. Teachers were given a Chick-fil-A biscuit with a sweet note attached created by Lauren Payne & Mateel Knowles.
Mike Snively helped to connect some Greenville Tech High School Students to AES & they are helping with activities and tutoring after school.
The coloring books that were bagged & decorated at our previous luncheon were handed out to the younger children at the school and they were happy to receive them.
Teachers are getting a lunch organized by Lucy Henry and Jacki Berkshire. Rotarians are encouraged to volunteer a few hours of time on 02/23 to watch the children in the cafeteria so that the teachers & staff can enjoy their meal. SIGN UP HERE
Spring break will be approaching and food donations are needed. Please bring these to the Westin or contact Jeni to drop off at the office. (non-perishable, easy to open food)
We will continue to recognize the two staff members of the month at our Westin luncheons. Due to scheduling, we look forward to hosting all four recently appointed staff members at our 2/28 luncheon.
