Teaching the Work of Peace in 2016
 A Message from John Hunter
Donate
As we say farewell to 2016, we are reminded of all those who have truly supported the World Peace Game Foundation in reaching key milestones over the past 12 months.

Teaching children the work of peace is the essence of our mission, and training educators through Master Classes in the World Peace Game is central to achieving it.

This year, we were fortunate to work with host schools who believed in the Game and invited us to their schools to work with their students and educators from around the globe: The Delta School (Wilson, AR), Miami Country Day School (Miami, FL), Stiftgymnasium Melk (Melk, Austria), Copenhagen International School (Denmark), Ostrog Primary School (Croatia), Jefferson School African American Heritage Center (Charlottesvillle, VA), Oregon State University/Linus Pauling Middle School (Corvallis, OR), and International Montessori School (Prague). Over 100 educators from more than 15 countries were certified to teach the WPG.
Making A Global Impact- A Word of Gratitude
2016 was a year of “firsts” for the World Peace Game. Thanks to World Peace Game Facilitators, the Game was taught for the first time this year in Mexico, Japan, Croatia, Denmark, Czech Republic, and Spain! We are so inspired by these dedicated individuals who have devoted such effort to bringing the Game to their students.

Our work in the European Union could not happen without the help of GLOBART. Thanks to their tireless efforts organizing the World Peace Game Camps and Master Classes, the Game is reaching educators  and children in EU member countries.

TED, through their talks and conferences, continues to expose the Game to their worldwide audience through John Hunter’s TED Talk. This year, the TEDSummit provided the Foundation with a chance to present the Game to conference participants, and we are grateful for their unfailing support of the Game.

Looking Ahead to 2017 - We need your help!
At the Foundation, we are positioned to do even more in 2017.  Along with a full schedule of World Peace Game Master Classes for educators, we plan to pilot a Training Institute to increase our capacity to reach more teachers. However, we need financial support from individuals to make this a reality. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation and join us in “teaching children the work of peace”.

With best wishes for a joyful holiday and a peaceful 2017,
John Hunter and the World Peace Game Foundation staff
