All you need is love . . . and books.
A Note from the Library Director
It's Library Lovers' Month! Are you a library lover? Is your relationship with the library a lifelong love affair? A relationship that has grown over the years, where you know the library like the back of your own hand? Or are you in a brand-new relationship with the library, where you still have those fluttery butterflies of new love, and can't stop checking out the library's Facebook profile? Or maybe you and the library have been in an on-again, off-again relationship -- you vary in how close you and the library are, but never quite get the library out of your mind? If your love of the library is in the latter category, I hope the materials, services, and events on offer here will crank up your relationship status from "off again" to "together forever." Regardless of what kind of relationship you have with the library, the library loves each and every one of our patrons. And there is always more love to go around, so please share your experiences at the library with your loved ones, and encourage them to become Library Lovers too!

Yours in Reading,
Betsy Bleck, Library Director

News You Can Use
New World Languages Collection

We are very excited to announce our new World Languages collection, funded in part by a generous grant from the Oconomowoc Area Foundation.

In addition to our popular Spanish language collection, we now have French, German, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, Vietnamese and Hindi books available for check out! What do all of these languages have in common? They are all spoken within the Oconomowoc community! These books range from children's materials to young adult and adult, some are bilingual and some are entirely in these languages. By starting this collection, we hope to provide books for people who speak these languages and for those who are learning them and would like to practice reading with something beyond a language textbook. We hope you will enjoy this new collection as we continue to grow it!

If you have any suggestions for other languages you would like to see or titles you would like to recommend, please contact Hope Kramer at extension 211.
