JULY 2017

Follow your dreams and use your natural-born talents and skills to make this a better world for tomorrow.  – Paul Watson

A Note from the Library Director
Dear friends,

One of my favorite old chestnuts is, "Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana." I wish I could give someone credit for that little gem, but it's unclear who uttered it first. No matter its origin, it is a great sentiment for summer. Summer flies so fast -- if only the freezing and fickle days of February and March would flit by so quickly! And of course, those dastardly fruit flies descend most voraciously in summer, too. Here's hoping your summer brings you lots of time to read, learn, and relax -- and not too many fruit flies.
See you at the library!

Yours in Reading,
Betsy Bleck
Library Director
