Holiday Greetings/Updates and Coming Soon: A Book Sale
Dear <<First Name>>
To those who celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving. This year has been difficult for so many, to say nothing of the terrible losses around the world. So I'm grateful to be alive, happy and healthy. I'm grateful to my wife who has cooked more meals since March than is surely possible. I'm grateful that I got to spend several birthdays and holidays virtually with family members around the world. And most of all I'm grateful to you, my readers.
In order to thank you, all my books will be discounted 50% this Friday November 26 through Monday November 29th. (I'll send you a reminder email on Friday with links to all the books.)
WHAT HAVE I BEEN READING?
I've read some fascinating books recently and recommend these in particular:
Sea Wife, by Amity Gaige and Pew by Catherine Lacey are both thought-provoking novels. What We Lose, a memoir by Zinzi Lemmons and In the Dream House, a memoir by Carmen Maria Machado are fascinating and both written in really unusual styles. Jew(ish) by Matt Keane, reminded me of the memoir I'm working on myself :) and will be of particular interest to those interested in understanding more about being Jewish in a non-Jewish world.
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season.
