I truly believe my best work is yet to come. But I have so many ideas, I'm not sure which book to complete first. So I'm enlisting your help.  I'm providing you with a link to my latest creation: A book of first chapters called, The Best is Yet to Come. (It's for sale on Amazon, but you, my wonderful subscribers, get it free.)  Please take a look, then tell me which of these books you would most want to read. If there's an overwhelming response to one in particular, then I promise, that's the next one I'll finish.

Along Came the Rain is a Finalist!!
I'm delighted to announce that Along Came the Rain was named a finalist for a Goldie award in the Dramatic Fiction category. The Goldies are annual awards given out by the Golden Crown Literary Society which promotes lesbian literature and the ceremony takes place this July in Chicago. Wish me luck!

This month's question:
Would you ever publish a bad review for a book you didn't like?

Last month I asked whether you prefer ebooks or books in print
Nancy said: "I prefer paperbacks. There's nothing like turning the page and keep reading," while Carol said, "I'm an e-reader only." Several folks said they still love books in print, but that e-readers are fantastic for traveling. I agree!
I recently saw the movie, "Lion," and loved it. It takes place in India so I was reminded of some of my favorite books by Indian writers. A couple that I've really enjoyed are: Shilpi Somaya Gowda's, "Secret Daughter," and Jhumpa Lahiri's "The Lowland."

Here's part of a wonderful review I received...

"The writing flows with vibrancy, and has a tempo that’s balanced with both intrigue and revelations, and the author treats us to several lyrical passages that are worth reading twice. This book is about learning truths….. about the death of a beloved sister and about forgiving yourself to enable a re-birth of your own heart. It’s a good story and a good book. Treat yourself to a good read!" Click here for the full review
