Potluck information session at NEW location - register today!

Join Twin Cities Cohousing Network on Thurs., March 8, 2018 for a neighborly potluck meal, information about cohousing, and an update on all that's been happening lately with cohousing in the Twin Cities. Registration link. Gather at 5:30 pm, and the meal starts at 6 pm. Please bring a dish to pass--ingredient lists are encouraged. See you there!

Please note that this will be at our new meeting location:
Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, not far from the Penn exit off I-394. The address is 420 Cedar Lake Rd S, Minneapolis. Free on-street parking is plentiful in the area around the church.

Core groups:

Bassett Creek Cohousing core group holding regular meetings

Bassett Creek Cohousing meets regularly and is actively seeking new members as they look for a site in the vicinity close to the Southwest Light Rail Extension route. They had an enjoyable and productive potluck dinner in February--two people signed up for the Explorer level membership and will attend an orientation session later this month. The almost 2-year-old boy in attendance made everyone smile with his greetings and antics.

The next information session will be Sun., Mar. 18, 2018 at 7 pm at First Unitarian Society, 900 Mt Curve Ave, Minneapolis. Contact Bassett Creek Cohousing at bcrk@cohousing.org or via their website  www.bassettcreek.us.

Skill building:

Sociocracy - a.k.a. Dynamic Governance...

Half a dozen students are taking the first iteration of a class in sociocratic principles taught by Lynn Englund. Twin Cities Cohousing Network will help publicize future class offerings. Sociocracy is a hybrid governance model with some characteristics of consensus that is used in many cohousing communities.
