Tune in to our Facebook page all week long, June 29-July 3, 2020, for our Keep That Same Energy "Office Hours" with host Student and Youth Organizer Michael MacMiller. You'll hear from some of the Partnership for Southern Equity’s (PSE) youngest and brightest staff about the exciting programs, trainings, and events being curated for young people 25 and under who are interested in racial equity and justice. You will also get a glimpse into the career stories of four young people who are passionate about racial equity, and hear how they arrived at PSE in these rewarding positions.

The Keep That Same Energy (KTSE) Youth Initiative invites young people to learn, engage and lead a call to action for racial equity for all. This initiative seeks to inspire and train leaders who will create opportunities in which all people can thrive in regenerative and equitable communities. By engaging in community and campus youth initiatives and programming, the KTSE Youth Initiative will build a network of leaders for equity. PSE aspires to create a space in which future organizers, fellows, and ambassadors can be activated as the collective voice for young people and equity in the American South.

At PSE, we understand that great movements must involve youth leadership and input. This partnership hopes to ensure PSE’s engagement with colleges and universities across the American South as well as communities of young people doing meaningful work in community. We want to listen to young leaders so they can inform us of the work we do and connect them to others who are doing great work across the American South. Our organization wishes to continue galvanizing young leaders; educating and engaging them in conversations about equity in a non-extractive and genuinely collaborative manner.
Keep up with KTSE
