In the immortal words of Grace Lee Boggs, “the only way to survive is by taking care of one another.”

As we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, I encourage everyone who is committed to racial equity to stay engaged, learn deeply, and support the organizations and leaders who are doing this work. We are proud to stand with organizations that are doing organizing work in AAPI communities in the American South.

Here’s what you can do:

Thanks to the more than 20 corporations and 80 attendees who joined us for for "Racial Equity: The New Bottom Line", the public launch of the Just Business Roundtable, a platform for businesses to learn and hold an honest dialogue about systemic racism in the corporate sector; examine and improve upon their internal policies and practices that affect racial economic disparities; and help shape public policies toward a race-conscious, equitable approach to growing metropolitan Atlanta’s economy.

We envision an equitable economy that allows Black and historically disinvested communities of color to contribute and thrive in metropolitan Atlanta.
The Just Health issue area and the Healthcare Georgia Foundation are proud to present the Health Equity Assessment Guide, the fruit of a multi-year effort to educate and strengthen Georgia’s rural communities in health equity; an often misunderstood or underestimated element that can heal and strengthen traditionally marginalized populations and provide an opportunity for growth and sustainability.

"I wanted to take the time to thank the 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta for honoring me with their 2021 Image Award. Being honored as someone who provides a positive image for our young Black [men] means more to me than I could write. Everyday I try my best to be a reflection of the change I wish to see in Atlanta, Georgia, and the American South. It is humbling to know that people I care about are paying attention," said Nathaniel Smith.
Keep up with
Nathaniel Speaks, which will allow you to keep up with our Founder and Chief Equity Officer on his upcoming speaking engagements around the country, and Online Events to see what other virtual events PSE is participating in safely throughout the equity ecosystem.
