Visiting from the Basilica-Cathedral of the Diocese of San Juan de Los Lagos in Jalisco, Mexico, the “Peregrina” image of Our Lady of San Juan de Los Lagos was venerated by the faithful of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles from September 9 through October 2. The pilgrimage concluded in East Los Angeles with the community of San Francisco Parish. About six million visitors are drawn to the shrine in San Juan de Los Lagos, making it the second most visited image in Mexico, after the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
