Celebrate Libraries!
Compass with caption "Where Did the Library Lead You?"
The second week of April is one of our favorite weeks in the year. It's National Library Week! Here are a few ways you can celebrate with us:
  • Say thank you to a librarian..or bring them a treat.
    • (National Library Workers Day is April 10th!)
  • Tell your legislators why your library is important to you.
    • (Take Action for Libraries Day is April 12)
  • Play matchmaker! Tell a friend about a library service or tool they might find valuable.
  • Post a story about how the library led you to something of value in your life with #NationalLibraryWeek or #LibrariesLead. (You could win a prize.)

Libraries Are...
Inclusive

“We all know how stressful it can be when we have a form that has a deadline or an information need that we aren’t sure how to locate accurate information for. Adding a language barrier on top of that makes it more difficult. ”
~ Hope Kramer, Oconomowoc Public Library
