Libraries Denied Ebook Purchases
Blue background and logo for "Libraries Transform". Text reads: "Because when libraries have access, readers win."
Have you heard that a major publisher wants to limit libraries' access to ebooks? Macmillan Publishers will limit libraries to purchasing one copy of each new ebook and impose an eight-week embargo on purchasing more copies, starting November 1.

This means fewer ebooks available to library patrons, which amounts to less access to books, knowledge, and information. We stand behind the American Library Association's #eBooksForAll campaign and encourage you to sign the petition opposing this new model.
