It starts this Sunday...

This Sunday in our 10:45 AM service, our praise team and choir will lead us to celebrate Jesus with songs like “Here I Am to Worship”, “What a Beautiful Name”, and “All My Hope.” Pastor Alan will bring the introductory message in his new series, “Meet the Church.”
In our 6 PM service, we will sing some of our favorite hymns and choruses, Aubrey Meador will bring a special song, and Pastor Alan will wrap up his series from Isaiah with a message entitled “Demonstrating Our Devotion.”

A Special Treat for Those 50 & Up!

This Sunday (6/3) is our monthly Senior Adult luncheon! If you consider yourself a senior, join us after the 10:45 AM service for some great food and fellowship in New Salem's Unity Building. No reservations needed!

New for Kids this Summer...
Starting Wednesday!

Children in Action launches this Wednesday night, June 6, at 6:30 PM for grades 1-5. Children in Action is a fun study teaching kids how to follow Jesus through missions. We'll learn about different countries and how the gospel is being shared there, plus take part in “hands on” opportunities to help spread the gospel both here and around the world. Children in Action will meet each Wednesday this summer in the Children's Church building. See Katie Beth Rogers for more info.

Just One Week Away from the Coolest Night of the Summer!

Enjoy this year's Harvest America Crusade in Dallas, TX,  without ever leaving Soddy Daisy! New Salem is hosting a live satellite simulcast for the Harvest America Crusade on Sunday, June 10. The fun begins at 6PM with an ice cream fellowship in the Unity Building (bring your favorite flavor to share). At 7 PM we will move into the sanctuary to join the simulcast, featuring music from Chris Tomlin, Crowder, and Phil Wickam, followed by an inspiring message from Greg Laurie. Invite a friend!

Making a Huge SPLASH!
New Salem kicked off the summer with a big splash on Saturday, March 26. We had a great turnout for this year's "Out of School Splash", met a lot of new friends, and pre-registered several kids for VBS 2018.  A good time was had by all--Thanks to everyone who came out to help!
Making Progress towards Improving
our Sunday School Ministry!
The upgrades to the Harvester's classroom are nearing completion, and work is moving right along on the expanded space for the Adulting 101 group. Once those projects are completed, attention will shift to the new meeting space being created between the Harvester's room and the Nursery, which will allow us to create a brand new Sunday School group designed for empty-nesters ( we're calling it the "Happy Campers" for now). Thanks for everyone's patience as we prepare our facilities for continued growth.
If you are not currently involved in one of our Sunday School small groups, come see what you are missing! Check out the link below for a directory of our existing groups and where they meet.
