Forward Forward
Dear everyone
This is what i'm doing to stay connected during these days of racist shootings, war, rising food prices
  • Talking to white  family members about their attitudes to race and racism; field their confusion and wanting to be seen for good intentions. Encourage them to think about things they might not be thinking about
  • Spending a whole afternoon in a drizzling London park cafe, making a drink last the whole afternoon engrossed in conversation with 2 great friends, talking about what we are reading/watching, the (im)possibility/challenge of intimate connections and a lot of grounding belly laughs.
  • Regents Park Rose Garden is coming in to bloom - for the next few months it's going to be glorious.
  • Reading and writing and spending a fair bit of time along.
  • Swimming and sitting in nature (always)
  • Listening to music (always)  This is what i'm listening to as i write
  • Trying to find the why, the purpose, the intention, the Yes!

Other than that, in this newsletter, you'll find out about:

  • Transform our pain into richness and beauty.
  • Dwell in our heart's true yearnings.

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26th June

  • say “No” with courage and care
  • transcend reactivity and develop a sense of inner space and choice
  • listen to your body when experiencing resistance to what someone wants you
Requests to Restore Flow  with Ceri Buckmaster 16th and 17th July 2022

Watch a short video about what we will cover

We’ll look at the relationship between request/demand and boundaries in particular in relation to different
power relationships.

We’ll look at ways of making it really easy for people to say no, as a way of caring for your relationships

We’ll look at saying no and hearing no and bring empathy to both of these.

We’ll look at how reflecting back needs and holding a clear intention to get to requests can restore flow
to negotiations and tricky conversations.

When making requests is difficult or impossible, what other options do we have?
