Building Restorative Systems
Conflict is an inevitable part of life. However, the way we choose to respond to it is entirely up to us. Rather than allowing it to hijack your ability to think calmly and rationally, you can learn to transform that energy into life-enriching systems.

Next month, you are invited to join Jo McHale, Sarah Ludford and me as we show you:

● The importance of system-building and the positively profound impact it has
● How to restore broken relationships through needs-serving agreements
● Skills for facilitating effective dialogues and mediations
● How to develop a mindset that embraces conflict

Building Restorative Systems for Transforming Conflict begins on Tuesday, September 7th. This course will be hosted by NVC Academy, and we are so very excited to be working with them for the second year in a row!

We have been passionate about this topic since 2016. It is our joint dream that every NVC community or group in the UK, has embedded within it a restorative approach to responding to conflict.

Here is a short video talking about the course

If you would love to imagine a working restorative system that belongs to your community, please join us for this truly transformational series!

Seeds of Nonviolent Communication in Hedben Bridge with Viv Slack and Tom Wilkinson
September 11-12th.

I'm very happy to announce that colleagues Viv Slack and Tom Wilkinson are putting on a weekend of NVC near Hebden Bridge.

"Being together as a small group for the weekend gives plenty of opportunity to work with your specific scenarios and struggles, get support and feedback in person, ask questions, and respond to what comes up. There will also be space for quiet downtime, connection with others and time in nature - a mini retreat!"
