Happy Summer!

Hello Teachers with GUTS,

We hope you have been having a terrific summer full of rest, relaxation, and of course, learning!

Project GUTS has been on the road offering Project GUTS CS in Science summer workshops and presentations about the project around the globe!  We’ve been to Scotts Valley (CA) for the Infosys CrossRoads conference; Hong Kong for Computational Thinking in Education 2018 conference; London, England for the International Conference of the Learning Sciences; Albuquerque (NM) for the NM CS PD Week conference; Bloomington (IN) for the Infosys Pathfinders Summer Institute, and Richmond (VA) for the CodeVA Summer Workshops – All to spread our method of integrating CS in science classrooms.  The growing interest in our project is EXCITING!

Teachers with GUTS also recently welcomed a new cohort of science teachers from Albuquerque (NM), Santa Fe (NM), and Richmond (VA).

It's Time to Celebrate!!!

We now have over 1000+ members of the TeacherswithGUTS.org online PD network.  AND it’s time to update your profiles for a chance to win a new Project GUTS t-shirt in the color of your choice!  We’ll draw 25 winners from those who update their profiles in AUGUST 2018.
  • Log in at TeacherswithGUTS.org   (email me ialee@mit.edu if you need a password reset.)
  • Click on the "My Pages" hexagon at the upper right hand side of page.
  • Under your mini profile you'll see a button to "Update Profile" - click there.
  • Complete the profile (up through languages section) and add an image / avatar if you haven't already.
If your name is drawn, we'll contact you for your t-shirt size, color preference, and mailing address.

Invitation to Participate in our Research Study

We are seeking TeacherswithGUTS.org members to participate in our research study.  As a participant, you will be asked to complete three 15-20 minute surveys.  The data gathered will help us better understand our community; how Project GUTS curriculum is being used; how well the resources, PDs, and tools meet teachers' needs; and serve as a comparison to complement the data collected from Teachers with GUTS cohorts that receive a year long PD program.

If you are interested in participating as a research subject, please click HERE.  For your time and effort, we'll send you a gift from Project GUTS (valued at $25) and you'll have our deepest gratitude.
