For the second week in a row we've got three amazing interviews that we can all learn a lot from. (At least that's how it seems to me as an unbiased observer!) And, as you can see, I'm finally stepping up my sponsor game as promised. 😁
Joel Runyon from Paleo Meal Plans provides a perfect example of how to learn about your customers and iterate your way to a great product. Dixon and Moe's HTML Color Codes demonstrates how great design can win out over entrenched competitors. And David Kaplan's Value Forest is proof that you don't need to wait around for a killer idea to start a profitable business.
I also recorded another episode of the Indie Hackers podcast this week! By the way, if you're wondering why you can't find the podcast, it's because it's not out yet. I want to build up a small backlog of episodes, so it will probably be out in January! 👊

Last but not least, I'm continually amazed at how you guys are at using the forum to connect with each other and figure out this whole indie hacking thing. I didn't get to spend as much time reading and responding to every post this week like I usually do, and it feels like I'm missing out on a lot, so expect to see more of me soon! 😎
Here are my favorites from this week:
- Stripe's new "Starting a Business Guide" (by wes)
Stripe's new guide is "full of great insights for formation, tax, bookkeeping, accounting". Wes posted this today, and I'd love to see some discussion on it!
- Night & Day (by JBit)
Long-time forum member JBit opens up about the hard parts of starting a profitable business. I love discussing the psychology behind being a founder, motivation, burnout, etc, so I think posts like this are really important.
- New Project: HomeCraft Advantage (by hcaadmin)
A new product launch with some seriously good feedback from the community. Hop in and provide some feedback of your own!
- New Project: Q&A with Developers (by amlewis4)
A technical recruiter and a software developer team up to build a site helping developers develop soft skills and business acumen. Check it out!
Thanks everyone for making the forum so awesome. Also, thanks to the people who reached out this week with some really awesome suggestions/introductions for people to interview. And thanks to my sponsors (Black Chair and Linkmonetizer) for helping to make Indie Hackers possible — show them some love everyone!
That's all for this week. I'll see you guys on the the forum today!
❤️,
Courtland (@csallen)
