Flight Simulation and Learning Effectiveness
Full flight simulators (FFS) for aircraft provide training experiences in three axes of flight; vertical, lateral, and longitudinal. Proponents claim this allows greater fidelity of actual flight conditions and enhances learning. In documented programs such as Line Oriented Flight Training, progressive sequences in the training increase complexity and numbers of events occurring simultaneously.
At Sky Creation, there’re a FAA-approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) with Garmin 1000 layout, which produces a realistic environment to practice and removes the risks. The simulated practice reinforces muscle memory for steps required and checklist items that are necessary during unexpected but possible real-life events.
Besides AATD, we also have set up Virtual Reality(VR) to help students more. By having students begin training in the virtual space, you can save both time and money. VR can provide advantages including less risk, higher availability, higher accessibility, cost effective, risk-free introduction of flight challenges and emergencies. And it is also very fun! The good news is that right now VR is still free of charge and you only pay for the instructor while using.
So if you’re interested to utilize the simulators at Sky Creation, please let your instructor know or come to Sky Creation to create a friendly sky together! We are looking forward to seeing you!
