Poetry Month Challenge: Submissions due April 30. Starting April 1, celebrate National Poetry Month with us by writing a haiku, a 3-line poem with 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. All ages can stop by the Children's or Reference Desk to pick up special paper for writing your original haiku, then we'll display it and enter you in a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to Lake Forest Book Store.
