Hi <<First Name>>,

At the beginning of April I took the opportunity to go freelance. Making my boat my base in and around Manchester, I am setting out on an adventure to help organisations do things differently. Using my experience of working with young people, community groups and leading teams, I am bringing all this together to energetically work with organisations to:
  • Make the most of the web and social media,
  • Plan for the future,
  • Make a bigger social impact
  • Design and deliver training.

If you know someone or an organisation that is currently grappling with or wanting to make progress on some of the areas mentioned then it would be great if you could introduce us; the different social and email links are just below!

Why stay on this mailing list?

I wanted to start a mailing list to share the work I am doing and help bridge some of the gaps between what is going on in the digital/tech world and different sectors and how to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.
  • Blogs about my work and sharing my learning on community engagement, digital development and marketing and training
  • Interesting articles about how digital is changing sectors
  • Examples of how engagement can help improve your service

What's the point of your social media?

Stop wasting time and money on social media was the call that triggered me to start a series of 3 blogs about how to make sure you invest wisely in your social media.

Many people just don't know where to start with their social media. In order to make the most of this powerful tool I believe you need to have a clear purpose for your channels and then you can thrive in a space that you can become famous for, driving more success to your organisation. Read the first part of my three part blog series on social media

Do you have a nattering army?

Social Media should become a skill like being able to use excel, word or outlook; something everyone in an organisation can do.

Is your social media person overwhelmed or swamped? Do you struggle to generate great content to tell your story? Perhaps social media should become a skill like using excel/word/outlook that everyone uses? Check out this second in a three part blog series on investing resources into social media.

What could we do together?

When you are able to meaningfully engage the people who will use your product, service or employment you begin to do things very differently and see results fast. Here's just one example of how we could work together
  • Have you identified a need that you think technology could be part of could solving?
  • Are you wanting to launch an app or website?
  • Are you wanting to take part of a face to face service online?
  • Do you want to reach more people and make it easier for them to access the information they need?
If so click to see how we could work together to launch digital projects and products faster.
