HERBERHOLZ safety shut-off valves, series 051
Typical applications of the new safety shut-off valve type AK/V-SSK by Herberholz are i.a. pipes to burners or multiple burners. The shut-off valve is suitable for all gaseous media acc. to DVGW-Arbeitsblatt G 260 and is certified acc. to EN 161, valve group 2, valve class A (closing time < 1 s).
The clearly defined limits of this series are as follows:
- Sizes: DN40 - DN200
- Body designs in wafer or lug type
- Nominal pressure DIN/EN PN10/16, ASME B16.5 Class 150
- Working pressure max. 5 bar
- Temperature range -10°C to +60°C
For more demanding applications and/or larger sizes, temperature ranges or pressure ratings, the well-proven series 049 (type AK/DVGW-SSK) is still used as the first choice.

TOSACA (spring-loaded) safety and pressure relief valves
Due to a high variety of designs and materials, these (spring-loaded) valves are used in different areas of the process industry. Possible applications include steam, gases, technical vapors and liquids.
TOSACA valves are available with various connections (threaded BSP/NPT, flanged DIN/EN PN10-100, ANSI B16.5 Class 150-2500) and body materials (ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel, LCC and super duplex). Low temperature designs can be used down to -196°C, high temperature designs up to +540°C. The valves meet the requirements acc. to DIN EN ISO 4126 part 1 and 7. Applicable norms: EN 12516-1, DIN 259, ANSI B2.1, MSS-SP 55, ASME UG-126.
