Innovation & Commercialization Workshop

There will be an all-day patent and trademark workshop featuring the USPTO on November 1st at the Lod Cook Conference Center. The Department of the Navy Office of Small Business Programs as well as the Louisiana Technology Transfer Office will also be there to discuss various research and commercialization topics that will be useful for any small business and entrepreneur! The NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small business Technology Transfer (STTR) program is accepting innovative proposals for research that shows a promise of commercial and societal impact. NSF Introduction to I-Corps Webinars

LSU has recently joined Eli Lilly's Open Innovation Drug Discovery (OIDD) program. OIDD is a premier collaborative platform that gives researchers the same tools and expertise available to Eli Lilly's own scientist. Molecular design tools, in vitro screening modules, detailed  compound identification, and access to remote automated synthesis laboratory are just a few of the benefits.
