BioChallenge Pitch Competition +
Louisiana University Technology Showcase
The New Orleans BioInnovation Center is hosting its annual BioChallenge Pitch Competition and Louisiana University Showcase on Wednesday, November 16th. As a testament to the value of the I-Corps program and methodology, two of the four startups competing for the BioChallenge $25,000 grand prize recently completed LSU's first I-Corps Cohorts.

Additionally, LSU will be showcasing several biotech innovations ready for licensing and development including a vaccine against herpes, a novel treatment for cancer, and many other great discoveries by LSU researchers.

Undergraduate Research Conference

Thank you to the LSU Office of Strategic Initiatives for letting us be a part of the 2016 Research Undergraduate Research Conference. We presented two participants with the Innovation and Commercialization Award for the most innovative research project with commercial potential. First place went to Altoneisha Rose (pictured left) and second place to Paula Datri (pictured right), both of Southern University at New Orleans.
