Today is Good Friday
<<First Name>>,

Today is Good Friday. Today is the day we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. Today is the day where we recall those dark days of our lives.

I hope that you will join us for our Good Friday worship tonight at 8pm. We will gather together online and reflect on the meaning of the cross in our lives through story and song. This will be a moving time of worship, and I believe that you will be blessed.

Then as the weekend progresses, Sunday is Easter. On Easter we will explore the question: "What does Easter mean?" This is a question that is more important now than it, perhaps, ever has been. In a word of fear and sickness, the power of Easter holds the promise to grant life and a way through.

Below you will find some more information about this weekend as well as information on how to connect with all of our worship opportunities. It is such a blessing, to me, when we are able to worship together online, especially during these days of distancing.

In Christ,

Will

We were so sad to announce that Messy Easter is postponed. We miss gathering, and we miss the mess! As our governor has instituted a Stay-At-Home order, Messy Church is traveling to your home. Please pray with us that the threat of gathering in large crowds will soon pass and we will be able to meet again with our Messy Church family. In the mean time, may this Messy Church at home give you some hope and add to the mess as we get ready for Easter.

In our Messy Church At-Home you will find a story, music, activities, and even meal discussion ideas.

To access Messy Church At Home, visit decaturumc.com/messychurch.
During these times and all times, the ministry of the church continues. Your generosity makes us able to create hope by connecting families and children with the life changing love of Jesus. During these anxious times, this is more important than ever. Please consider giving generously online at decaturumc.com. Or by mailing in your contribution.
