Take a moment to share your thoughts...
<<First Name>>,

This is the first week that things have begun to feel a bit routine in my household. The routine of sheltering in place. The routine of trying to homeschool. The routine of doing "church" differently.

During this period of routine, I have begun to search out leading voices on church and change and innovation. Our change has been forced upon us by an unseen foe, but this change also gives us the opportunity to innovate in ways that can bless you and reach more people with the life changing love of Jesus.

One of the voices that I've been listening to is encouraging us to think in terms of NOW, NEXT, and NEW. What are we called to do now to continue the basic functions of church ministry? What are we called to do next as we seek a new normal in the church? What new thing might God be calling us to do that will help more experience hope and connect with Jesus?

We are entering the NEXT phase of the church. To help us move into this next phase of church, I need your help. I have heard from many of you about our online worship experiences, but being the church is more than just worship. Being the church is about caring for each other, growing in faith, and sharing this love with our community.

To help us move into this next phase, I am asking you to complete a Spiritual Growth Survey. This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete, and it will help our church leadership be able listen and learn what comes next in our ministry. Please take a moment to complete this survey. Please take the survey as an individual and share it with others in your household that are connected to the church and might be interested.

Below you will find some more information about worship and what is coming this weekend. I am praying for you; please pray for me.

In Christ,

Sunday is Coming!
We have a great service of online worship planned for Sunday at 11am. In worship we are continuing our focus on looking at God's plan for a New Normal. This week we will explore the calling from God to living a new normal of being odd. If you want to read ahead, we will focus on 1 Peter 1:17-23.
  • Worship at our Online Campus Sunday @ 11am. Click HERE to join the Online Campus.
  • To join by phone for audio only call 646-558-8656, enter meeting id: 170 368 050#, and password 145.
  • If you miss a live worship service, you can join later by checking out our sermon archives HERE.
A note on FACEBOOK. We have continued to have issues with Facebook as a place to engage with online worship. These issues either have to do with bandwidth or copyright claims. All of the content we stream in worship is legally obtained, and we have all the required permissions to stream the content. It seems that Facebook has no way of knowing that we have obtained these paid licenses, so they take down our videos or interrupt the stream in some way.

I have contested these copyright claims, but it does not seem to have made a difference. Due to these issues, Sunday's worship will NOT stream on Facebook. Please access worship through our online campus by clicking HERE or going to

You can also access worship on our YouTube channel. If you are trying to stream the worship video on your smart TV this is a great option. You can stream worship on your smart TV and then you can enter the online campus on your smart phone or computer to engage in the chat together.
Online Communion This Weekend
During the Easter Season we are celebrating Holy Communion each week. I've prepared a prayerful reflection on communion and making communion bread. if you haven't done so already, I encourage you to watch it, and consider making your own bread for communion. (I promise it is super easy and can be very meaningful.)

During these times and all times, the ministry of the church continues. Your generosity makes us able to create hope by connecting families and children with the life changing love of Jesus. During these anxious times, this is more important than ever. Please consider giving generously online at Or by mailing in your contribution.
