Special Council Meeting Highlights
January 2019

The following items were approved at the Special Council meeting
  1. To proceed with the Piesse Lake Residential Development.
     
  2. Approved the tender to Jefferies Brothers for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for 2 further years.
     
  3. Approved the tender from Evergreen Synthetic Grass (WA) Pty Ltd for the Katanning Country Club Bowling Green Construction.

Ordinary Council Meeting Highlights
February 2019

The following items were approved at the Ordinary Council meeting
  1. Supports to proposal to Subdivision Lot 8 Round Drive, Katanning, subject to conditions.
     
  2. Development Approval for a Wastewater Treatment System at the Abattoir, subject to conditions.
     
  3. Approved Katanning Community Cinema Group for a 12 month licence to occupy the Katanning Town Hall.
     
  4. Council approved the following grants for Round 2 of the 2018/2019 Community Financial Assistance Program
     
    • Katanning Senior High School P&C $881.82exGST for venue hire and decoration hire costs.
    • Katanning Historical Society $4,278.00exGST for Display Cabinets in the Katanning Museum.
    • Katanning Men’s Shed $9,000exGST for the underground connection of a standard electricity supply to Western Power’s LV network to their future base at the Westrail Wool Consolidation Shed (The Woolstore).
       
  5. Accepted the tender from Tricoast Civil for the Katanning Waste Transfer Station Civil Works.
