Celebrate America Recycles Day
|
|
|
 November 15th is America Recycles Day, and to celebrate UK Recycling is asking students, faculty, and staff members to pledge to recycle more.
Here’s how to participate: you can stop by one of three tabling events and take the pledge by getting your picture taken with the #recycleblue letters and posting it on a social media.
Here’s where to find the tabling events:
Tuesday November 14, 10 am-2 pm, in front of Bowman’s Den
Wednesday November 15, 10 am-2 pm, by Mining and Minerals building
Thursday November 16, 10 am-2 pm, in front of The 90
Another way to participate is to visit the UK Recycling webpage and take the online pledge.
Lastly, you can take a photo of yourself recycling on campus and post it on social media using our hashtag #recycleblue. Send a copy of it to recycle@uky.edu.
Everyone that takes the pledge gets a UK Recycling t-shirt! If you take the online pledge, be sure to leave your building and room number so we can easily get your shirt to you.
