Welcome to the TCK Resource Roundup: the quick-and-dirty way for us to share the best of the TCK resources that come across our desks.

"What does "home" mean?" "What do I do with my collection of cultures?" "Why do I feel like I'm on a transition roller coaster??!" We've got some great resources this week to answer the big TCK questions.

We teach similar TCK basics during Guide Groups, our six week virtual club for TCKs, ages 7-15. Your kids will meet other families around the world and learn three important tools for every phase of life, like the one B. (right) about friendships. We'd love your TCKs to join us for the March session! Get them registered!

What's the impact of labels and in our increasingly mobile world? What does home mean when we live in a place that’s culturally different from where our parents originated? Navigating Life As A Third Culture Kid is a TedxYouth Talk by Vicky Schdeva in Prague that provides her inside look at life in between cultures.

We're so excited to introduce you to "The Boy Who Weaves the World". Marci, published author and mom of 4 boys, tells the story of Pierre who travels the world with his family and collects stories from each "home". We're giving away TWO BOOKS on our Instagram right now! Run, don't walk!

You’ve probably heard of a transition bridge–but have you heard of a Transition Infinity Loop? Forever TCK, Kelli Boesel talks about how she manages this phenomenon in her blog post.

What are you watching, reading, or listening to that encourages you on your cross-cultural journey? Reply to this email to let us know!

Reviews are in and one thing is clear: we all need more TCK Guide Groups ASAP! Registration for the March Session is open until March 15 and we are so ready to connect, learn and play virtual Freeze Tag with your third culture kids!

Still wondering if Guide Groups are right for your TCKs? 🤗 Here's a quick review:

Q: What are Guide Groups?

A: A virtual club for TCKs! Two awesome, KLDSCP leaders and 5-10 kids in the same age range meet on Zoom  once a week, talk about TCK stuff, debrief the ups and downs of life with people who get it and make friends all over the world. 🤩Sessions are six weeks long and cover three key TCK topics.

Q: Who can join Guide Groups?

A: Any third culture kid ages 7-15! If you have or know a TCK older than 16 they can volunteer to co-lead a group— maybe even more fun than being in a Guide Group 😊Get more leader info here

Q: Is every session the same?

A: The short answer is yes. Right now each six-week session repeats the same six lesson plans BUUUUT coming up in the spring/summer we will be opening doors to a choose-your-own-group option with a variety of topics-- from book club to coding camp! Register your TCKs for the March session and get early access to the new and improved Guide Groups.

Q: How do we sign up?

A: Go to for all the info
(including leader applications and an option to buy the lesson plans if you want to DIY!)
TCK parents, you fill out a quick registration form, we'll send you payment info and some things to sign once we confirm your time zone is available this session, #TCKproblems, and that's it 👍🏻👍🏻Your kids will start meeting their leaders and TCK group via Zoom and What'sApp (for teens only).
