Every month Kuumba Academy recognizes students who are doing an exemplary job modeling the habits of scholarship.

She is consistently found helping others, she shows integrity by encouraging others to do the right thing and doing it herself - even if no one else is. Her dedication to doing her personal best in all subjects is nothing less than impressive and honorable.
  • Jayden is very respectful towards adults and peers.  He encourages others to shine bright.
  • Trevor has shown responsibility by remembering classroom norms, coming to class prepared and being ready to learn and participate.
  • Kasi is very respectful towards others, and is always willing to lend a helping hand
