Welcome Integrated Transport Planning (ITP)


Suffolk County Council (SCC) has appointed Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) to engage employers of any size in the Bury Local Links (BLL) initiative over the coming year.  ITP has vast experience of working with businesses to assist and support travel behaviour change initiatives across the country, including the award-winning Local Links programme in Lowestoft.

The objective of the BLL workplace initiative is to promote and encourage the use of sustainable transport amongst Bury St Edmunds businesses and their employees. Increased sustainable transport use helps to reduce congestion across the town and can reduce travel and transport costs to work for staff in particular. Read more

Workplace Charging Scheme

 
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.

2017 Active Lunch Challenge


This year Workplace Challenge is inviting you to add bite size activities into your working day. Ten minutes is all you need to a healthier, happier you!

The Active Lunch Challenge is an 8-week national logging challenge taking place from the 4th January to the 28th February 2017, where you and your colleagues can log activities and earn activity points. Read more

Bury Local Links Travel Packs

 
We have delivered our travel packs to various businesses in Bury St Edmunds. Included in these packs are several active travel options employees can take to work.

These include websites for bus information, walking routes, car sharing and the Bury St Edmunds cycle/ walking map.

Travel Plan Grant Scheme


The Travel Plan Grant is a match funded scheme that encourages Suffolk businesses to invest in active commute projects.
