The citywide application opens April 11, 2023 for the upcoming school year. Explore your options for CPS Pre-K programs and Community-Based programs that include Head Start and Early Start programs!

 

The application for Fall 2023 opens in April, but if you need an early learning option for your little one now you're in luck! We are still accepting applications for the current school year.

3 steps to prepare for applying at an Chicago Early Learning program

Get a head start on the application process before it opens. Here are a few steps you can get started on now.

1. Gather Documents needed for your application and put them in a folder you can easily access when the application launches. You can review the list of required documents here.
   
   

2. Learn more about the specific programs offered. Chicago Early Learning offers community-based programs and CPS Pre-K. If you’re not sure what is best for your family, you can learn more here.
   
   

3. Explore the many great early learning programs we offer by using the location search tool on our website. You can compare locations and filter by age, neighborhood, hours of operation, program features, and more!

The Workforce Scholarship Application is Now Open!

Do you want to advance your career as an early childhood educator or become an early childhood professional? Apply for the Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year. 

 

This scholarship isn’t just for teachers. The Workforce Scholarship is also for any Chicago resident who wants to enter the early childhood workforce. Parents of children currently enrolled in one of Chicago’s early childhood programs and recent High School graduates are encouraged to apply.
