This years VE Day Dance was better than ever and has raised a phenomenal £3,700 for the sanctuary.
Once again the event was a sell out and an enjoyable evening was had by all. Long Ashton Community Centre was decked out in 40's style decor and guests were able to enjoy a ukulele introduction whilst munching on their ration bags, enjoy a talk by a Normandy war veteran, watch an amazing performance by the Thornbury Swing Band, shop at the Vintage pop-up stall,  win great items in the raffle and silent auction and dance the night away.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that attended  as well as a special thank you to all of our hard working volunteers that made everything possible, especially Tania Taber who has once again excelled herself in organising a fantastic event in aid of Holly Hedge. Tania does so much for the sanctuary we really can not thank her enough!
