Hundreds of people attended and enjoyed California Freethought Day 2018, and if you were one of them — or helped us make the day happen — thank you!
Have you seen the pictures on Facebook and Instagram? And starting today at 8 PM, one video each day will be shared on Facebook, then on YouTube.
With such a successful event in October, we can now look forward to the next California Freethought Day on October 13, 2019.
The #1 suggestion, according to our recent survey, was that we need to bring more people to Freethought Day. We've done everything we can with free promotions, but we have to look bigger.
In about three weeks, coinciding with #GivingTuesday, we'll be asking you for an end-of-year donation to support next year's California Freethought Day.
Donations raised on November 27th will be dedicated to advertising next year's event, with ad buys on Facebook, Capitol Public Radio (NPR), the Sacramento News and Review, and more. And, donations made very early in the morning may even be matched by Facebook!
If you use Facebook, we're asking you to help us make 2019 our biggest year by donating to our #GivingTuesday campaign on the morning of November 27, then inviting your friends to do the same.
But if you aren't a Facebook user, you can make a donation at any time via PayPal or check. In either case, your donation is tax-deductible.
Thank you, again, to all of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, speakers, and attendees.
