On behalf of the Te Haeata committee we would like to thank all of the wonderful support we had received from the initial discussions through to the preparations, delivery and follow up of the event.
There was a great deal of work needed by many to make this day as successful as it was.
We would like to take the time to thank the following people as their contributions added to making this experience such a positive one for all who were involved.

Sun City Ukelele who entertained the crowd most of the day
Anaru Charters who provided the catch a cook experience
Oliver Sutherland who provided a history tour of Anaru
Ngāwai and Bill who opened their home for the Sparkling breakfast and high tea
The High tea crew (Aunty Em, Aunty Nola, Kaylene, Sue) who provided a delicious assortment of top quality treats.
Liz and Harry Leov who provided a wonderful raffle to which the winner then donated it back for the auction.
Patariki Hippolite who provided an experience on the waka ama
The Te Haeata working group members and whānau who prepared, manned and made sure everything ran as smoothly as it could.
We would also like to thank those who travelled from near and far to support the events.

Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora te Iwi.

We are happy to announce that the days events raised over $5000. This money will be spent wisely to continue to make Te Haeata a place for our people to flourish.
