Use Google Alerts to Monitor Illegal Delivery

Google Alerts is useful tool to notify Dispensaries if their brand is being used by or for unlicensed delivery services. Google Alerts will notify users via email if chosen search terms come up in any Google search. To employ the service effectively, users should have a working knowledge of "boolean search" terms.

Boolean Search

Boolean is a type of search allowing users to combine keywords with operators (or modifiers) such as AND, NOT and OR to further produce more relevant results. For example, a Boolean search could be "Dispensary Name" AND "delivery" NOT "Other Dispensary Name." This would limit the search results to only the documents containing the two keywords "Dispensary Name" and "delivery" and exclude "Other Dispensary Name."
