Seeking Invitations for Self Development of People to Interpret
The General Assembly’s National Committee for Self Development of People (SDOP) will have their annual national meeting in the area May 23-25. Before the meeting, they are holding a community workshop in Brooklyn on May 22 about getting grants for grassroots groups, so please share this flyer with your church and community organizations in your area.

Members of the committee welcome invitations to attend local congregations and have the opportunity to interpret our work. They are willing, on May 26th, to preach, give a Minute for Mission, and/or teach a Sunday School class. If your church is interested in learning more, please email Rev. Dr. Laura Krauss or call (310) 265-9810.

In addition, they would like to invite presbytery staff and pastors to have dinner with us on Friday, May 24, at First Presbyterian Church, Newark at 6:30 pm, 820 Broad Street Newark, NJ 07102. If you are coming RSVP by May 13th.
