Implementation Groups Update

We welcomed two new members to the Participation Workers meeting, held on September 15th. The group discussed different events taking place across the collaborative, and heard presentations from Clare Hoddinott and Hannah, Youth Ambassador at the Brandon Centre, giving details about a recently run participation event for those on the waiting list. We also heard more about the Debate training programme from Laura Tyrell.
The next Participation workers group is the 10th November, 10am - 12pm.

Looked After Children (LAC)

The LAC group met on 21st September in a new combined meeting format with CPLACC (Clinical Psychologists working with Looked After and Adopted Children). The group heard presentations from Martina Paglia, about her research and recommendations for outcome measurement for LAC and out of area placement strategy, and Matt Woolgar about Attachment in Practice. After this, the session continued previous work aiming to arrive at recommendations for use of outcome measures in direct work and consultation and a statement about therapeutic work with LAC.
The next LAC meeting will be in January - details TBC

The Data Meeting on 23rd June 2016 included presentations about data quality from Lambeth & Southwark, a walk through of one of the Hackathon 'How am I doing' app, an update from the CYP Mental Health Outcomes Expert Advisory Group and MHSDS so far, as well as an overview of a new pan London NHS dashboard.
The next Data meeting is TBC

Under 5's

The last under 5's implementation group led on from some national work trying to identify usable outcomes tools for this age group - the London and South East CYP IAPT Collaborative implementation group work built on this and made great progress towards collating a list of useful tools and ways of working, The group next week will continue this work, as well as launch the new Under 5's CYP IAPT course and more.
The next Under 5's meeting is 29th September - register here

Learning Disabilities (LD)

The last LD implementation group pushed itself to come up with a consensus on guidance for measures to use for outcomes monitoring across LD services  - the group produced a 'product' that has gained traction at a regional national level being presented at the CAMHS nation conference earlier in the year and presented to commissioners across London a Healthy London Partnership event - copies of the LD outcomes guidance can be found here
The next LD meeting is TBC

New! Assistants Group

As those working in assistant roles, such as assistant psychologists and administrators, are often uniquely placed to support many different aspects of CYP IAPT transformation, we thought it may be useful to provide a space to meet with others in a similar role. This first meeting will serve as a trial, and the format of the group will be driven by what its members would find most useful.
The first Assistants group will be on 6th October - register here
You can read event notes, products and see presentations from previous groups on the Implementation group pagesIf you would like to be put on the mailing list for any of the implementation groups, please get in touch.
