Implementation Groups Update

All implementation groups now have their own pages on the website

The participation workers group met on 16th June to share learning about their work and hear about participation opportunities such as the upcoming Young Advisors Event, The Hub app from the Hackathon, a chance for CYP to be involved in an exciting new Future CAMHS animation  and a debating programme proposal. Sophie Allan has written a blog post about her time as a participation worker which you can read about here.

The next Participation workers group is 15th September 2016

Looked After Children (LAC)

The July 2016 LAC event brought together 25+ professionals working in LAC services throughout the collaborative. The event began with some national context setting from Duncan Law and Miriam Silver and some feedback from a service user involvement day from Gemma Cheney, Emmi Honeybourne and Kath Castaneda.

After lunch, the group split into working groups to build on previously developed products and created new guidance documents for professionals working with LAC which you can access on the new LAC group page.

The next LAC meeting is TBC

The Data Meeting on 23rd June 2016 included presentations about data quality from Lambeth & Southwark, a walk through of one of the Hackathon apps 'How am I doing?', an update from the CYP Mental Health Outcomes Expert Advisory Group and MHSDS so far, as well as an overview of a new pan London NHS dashboard.

Under 5's

The last under 5's implementation group led on from some national work trying to identify usable outcomes tools for this age group - the London and South East CYP IAPT Collaborative implementation group work built on this and made great progress towards collating a list of useful tools and ways of working - all work in progress at this stage but the next group will hope to turn these from its and ideas into a consensus agreement
The next Under 5's meeting is 29th September

Learning Disabilities (LD)

The last LD implementation group pushed itself to come up with a consensus on guidance for measures to use for outcomes monitoring across LD services  - the group produced a 'product' that has gained traction at a regional national level being presented at the CAMHS nation conference earlier in the year and presented to commissioners across London a Healthy London Partnership event - copies of the LD outcomes guidance can be found here.

If you would like to attend any of the implementation groups, please get in touch
