Implementation Groups Update

The Participation Workers Group met on the 12th January. The group heard updates on the latest participation work taking place across the Collaborative, and shared tips for increasing engagement with involvement work in services. The group heard about experiences of taking part in the debating programme and YP involvement in films for PSHE lessons, waiting list events and introductory letters to CAMHS.
The next Participation workers group is 23rd March, 2017.

Looked After Children (LAC)

The LAC group met on 25th Jan again with a combined format with CPLACC (Clinical Psychologists working with Looked After and Adopted Children). The group heard about VIG from Claire Claire Buky-Webster and an evaluation of support to social care staff by Claire and Lucy Sawyer. There were small group discussions and the group signed off on the 'Recommendations & Guidance for Looked After Childrens Services: Key Considerations and Outcome Measurement in Therapeutic Work & Consultation' - a document that combines and summarises three guidance documents developed in previous meetings. The meeting then focused on a response to the SCIE Call for evidence for CYP in care
The next LAC group will be 22nd May - Save the date!

The Data Meeting on 23rd June 2016 included presentations about data quality from Lambeth & Southwark, a walk through of one of the Hackathon 'How am I doing'app, an update from the CYP Mental Health Outcomes Expert Advisory Group and MHSDS so far, as well as an overview of a new pan London NHS dashboard.
The next Data meeting is 2nd February. Email to sign up

The second of our Assistants meetings was held on 8th December 2016. The group met to share their work and heard a presentation called ‘CYP IAPT Simple Data Tricks’ by Lynette Antwi-Marful. The group then pooled their own tips to create a 'Top Tips for Data' sheet for assistants - you can find it here.
The next Assistants meeting is on Thursday, 16th February, 2016. To attend, please click here

Under 5's

The last Under 5s group in September saw the launch of the Under 5s CYP IAPT training course, as well as presentations about the Early Intervention Foundation review of early years interventions and transformation in perinatal services. The group set to work in the afternoon, deliberating measures that might be included in a recommended measures set for Under 5's services. This piece of work is still ongoing and will be continued at the next meeting.
The next Under 5's meeting will be on 15th March - SAVE THE DATE!

Learning Disabilities (LD)

The last LD implementation group pushed itself to come up with a consensus on guidance for measures to use for outcomes monitoring across LD services  - the group produced a 'product' that has gained traction at a regional and national level being presented at the CAMHS nation conference earlier last year and presented to commissioners across London at a Healthy London Partnership event - copies of the LD outcomes guidance can be found here.
