Welcome to our May newsletter. First a reminder our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 1st May, 6.30pm, at the usual place, St Charles' Church Hall, 1 Kelvinside Gardens, G20 6BG. Our meetings are open to all residents. Please come along if you would like to find out more about the council or how you can get involved. We would love to meet you!
Before that, some local residents are organising a community spring clean this Sunday morning, 29th April, from 9am, meeting at 154 Wilton Street and heading off down Doune Gardens and beyond. You are invited to lend a hand if you're free! (There's more information about the clean-up on the Nextdoor website – why not sign up if you've not already joined? Lots of your neighbours are already members. It's a great place to share local information.)
On Wednesday 2nd May the consultation on the improvements to Queen Margaret Drive continues with a public drop-in event at the Scout Hall, 76 Kelbourne Street, any time between 3pm and 7pm. If you're unable to go along in person you can take part in the online consultation, but the drop-in event will be more informative. Make sure you have your say! The online consultation is available until 18 May at www.glasgow.gov.uk/qmd.
Remember to let us know your views on parking – you can leave a comment on our website or send an email to NorthKelvinParking@gmail.com.
Finally, a reminder GCC's public consultation on HMOs ends 18 May 2018. Details are on the City Council Consultation Hub (click on "Current Consultations").
Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might be interested. The only information we require from subscribers is an email address (for obvious reasons) and first half of your postcode (which helps weed out the spammers). We will only use your email address to send this newsletter or information about local issues or events, and we won't pass it on to anyone else. You can unsubscribe from our list at any time: see link at the bottom of the page.
Thank you for reading. Please get in touch with your comments and suggestions!
