March 2019 Newsletter

March's focus on sleep seems to have helped with trying different techniques. Some have worked better for others and it's about trying things until you find what helps you sleep best. We've still a week and half to go of March so there is still time to put your phone aside, try some lavender and do some yoga before you head to bed. 

There are no classes next week as I'm in the Netherlands continuing my Yoga Therapy training. I'll post some suggested poses for you to try at home next week.  

Also in March I started my Pilates teacher training. It's quite different from teaching yin and restorative yoga but it's a great compliment to yoga practice and building strength. Starting in April I'm going to be teaching some Pilates Fundamental classes. Initially these are going to be 30 minute classes on Mondays at 6.15pm
I'm also planning on starting Pilates and yin joint classes aimed at back pain, where you'll spend the first half improving your core stability and then the second half stretching out over a bolster to relax. Let me know if you're interested in this and I can let you know the dates that I'm considering. 

Normal Yin Yoga classes are open for booking and continue from the 1st April with classes on 
Monday 7-8pm - no class on Easter Monday 22nd April
Wednesday 5-6pm
Wednesday Beginners Yin Yoga 6.15-7.15pm 

Restorative Yoga is on Fridays 12th and 26th April 6.30-7.30pm
