President's Message
Catherine A. Melquist
MSUA President
As part of this month's focus on the energy market, Mobility News is offering a recap of the recent CEO panel discussion which took place during Oilcomm 2016 featuring Joe Spytek (ITC Global), Keith Johnson (Speedcast) and Tony Queenan (Marlink) and panel moderator Frank August (MSUA). Learn what's important to energy industry customers, the new norms emerging in the market downturn, the importance of HTS and satellite uptime, regional variation in requirements and the future of satcom with new innovations such as flat panel antenna technology. MSUA would like to thank all speakers who contributed to this discussion and we look forward to facilitating more mobility development panels on energy and other markets in the months ahead.

Left to right:  Tony Queenan (Marlink), Keith Johnson (Speedcast), Joe Spytek (ITC Global) and Frank August (MSUA).
To be announced in next week's edition of Mobility News, MSUA's SATELLITE 2017 Mobility Forum panels and categories for the 2016 Mobility Innovation Awards program.  Next week will also include an MSUA New Member Interview featuring Applied Satellite Technology (AST).
