MSUA is pleased to welcome new corporate member Isotropic Systems. A start  up, Isotropic Systems aims to disrupt the consumer and enterprise market with a next generation high throughput terminal that is higher in functionality and 75-90 percent lower in cost than conventional phased-array and flat-panel antennas. Using transformational technology, terminals will use the selective bending of light and come in highly adaptable, low-profile form factors. Click to learn more.

In other news, the submission period for MSUA's 2018 Mobility Satellite Innovation Awards Contest closed last Friday at midnight. Thank you to all who participated and I'm pleased to report we've had a record high turn-out of applications making this year's contest the strongest to date. It appears we've received depth, diversity and a high quality lot of submissions leaving a challenging evaluation for our contest judges.
