- Society of St. Pius X Annual Raffle in aid of St. Michael's School - please buy your tickets from St. Michael's School (send a cheque or make a transfer) or at your local chapel repository.
- Mr. Bernard Bevan entered the Seminary St. Curé d'Ars, Flavigny together with 13 other seminarians on 11th October. Please keep him and the other seminarians in your prayers.
- Announcing the SSPX GB Noticeboard System for each priory: if you would like to send and receive announcements concerning your chapel, please sign-up to our new electronic noticeboard. The St. Michael's School noticeboard has been running for almost a year and has proved very useful for organising parish events, posting rotas, asking for prayers etc. This model is now being extended to the all the priories of the district. All posts should concern local news and events and will be screened before they are posted.

- Make a list of departed souls and put them in the collection box at your chapel. All the lists will be placed in a box next to the tabernacle throughout November and the priest will include them in the memento for the dead during the canon of each Mass.
- Offer alms for the Holy Souls by placing offerings in the brown envelopes for Holy Souls. These alms will be applied to purchase of new altar linens.

- Holywell Pilgrimage 2016: Fr. Matthew Clifton offered Mass at St. David's Chapel, Ross on Sea on 10th September and then proceeded to Holywell Shrine to pray the rosary and venerated a relic of St. Winefride with a small group of faithful.
- Making a donation to the Consoling Sisters of the Sacred Heart at the Servi Domini Orphanage India is good way to cover a multitude of sins (cf. I Pet 4:8).

Why are we not saints? Want of courage and want of patience. We give up, we have not the strength of will and determination to succeed which the saints had. Another point is that our notion of sanctity is adding on, instead of making perfect what we already do. (Fr. William Doyle)

- Please pray for the repose of the soul of Miss Mary Plume of London who died on 16th September. Her funeral was on 5th October at St. Bede's, Clapham. Requiescat in pace.
- Please pray for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Maureen Sinclair of London who died on 17th September 2016. A Requiem Mass and funeral will take place at 11am, 12th Octoberat St. Joseph & Padarn, Salterton Road, Holloway, London N7 6BB,. The burial will be at 1:30pm at Upminster Cemetery. Requiescat in pace.
- Please pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. Patrick Seeber of Johannesburg who died on 18th September 2016. Requiescat in pace.
- Please pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. Joseph Lefebvre, brother of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who died on 21st September 2016 aged 102 years, fortified by the rites of Holy Mother the Church. Requiescat in pace.

- Walsingham Pilgrimage 3rd-4th September
- Holywell Pilgrimage Saturday 10th September: 12noon Mass in St. David's Chapel, Mochdre; 3pm finish with prayers and devotions at St. Winefride's, Holywell.
- Fatima Pilgrimage 18th-21st August 2017: details being finalised. Information will be sent to all who have enquired.

- Coordinators are required for each Mass Centre to assist with communications and works of the apostolate. Please send your requests
- A new Rosary Crusade was announced by Bishop Fellay to run from 15th August 2016 to 22nd August 2017. Here is a sheet to keep track of the rosaries and sacrifices. You can also submit figures online.
- Many of the ciborium veils need to be replaced. If anyone is able to make some, please contact us for details.
- Militia Immaculatae enrolments: Sunday 28th August Woking after the 11:30am Mass; 4th September Groombridge after 1pm Mass; 11th September Liverpool after 5pm Mass. Please read the Introduction to the Militia Immaculatae booklet to prepare for enrolment.

- Please pray for Miss Mary Plume of London who is gravely ill.
6. FOR THE RECORD
- The funeral of Mr. Peter Barry took place on 2nd September. A Requiem Mass was offered at St. Margaret & Leonard's in Edinburgh and he was laid to rest in the cemetery of his home, Ratho. His final journey was on a farm trailer flanked by his farmer son and grandson. Requiescat in pace.
- The date of the feast of Christ King is 30th October (last Sunday of October) contrary to the indication in the St. Michael's School calendar. Along with everything else, we blame Brexit for the error.
