Take the Lead
At the General Membership meeting, members heard nominations for Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, First Bargaining Unit (white collar) Delegate, Third Bargaining Unit (supervisors) Delegate, Humboldt and Del Norte County Central Labor Council delegates, Council 57 delegates, and one trustee.
Look for ballots in the mail after December 21st. Be sure to return them no later than January 6th at 5:00pm. Election results will be announced on Wednesday, January 11th. Elected members will be sworn in at the General Membership meeting on Wednesday, January 18th!
AFSCME Local 1684 sisters and brothers are encouraged to join the National Women's March solidarity march in Eureka on Saturday, January 21st. The march starts at the Labor Temple at 1 p.m. and ends at the Humboldt County Courthouse at 4 p.m.
