Thank you for joining us in prayer this week.  We acknowledge together that God is greater, that he is our hope and comfort and that he reigns over all things.

The Elim Global Network Conference for Africa is taking place this week.
Please pray for the delegates as they travel to Kenya.   Pray for God to move in the lives of the delegates to reaffirm His mission for them.

Pray for our Elim Missions team of Iain Hesketh, Roy Johnson, Bobbie Tinnion and Amy Dunn (MAP student) as they travel and minster at the conference.

Liz is from Bradford and has been involved in the work in Romania for many years. Liz has many years of experience in early year’s education as a primary school teacher and uses this to serve the children and young people within the Roma community. She currently works with an average of 200 children and young people each week.

Please pray for the work there and for Liz in her desire to see the work in Romania expand and reach more people for Jesus.

India:  100 years ago the first ‘recorded’ Elim missionary arrived on the shores of India bringing good news of Jesus to the people there.   In 2019, as Elim Missions celebrates its centenary year, we continue the legacy as God leads us to work in the largest slum in Asia.

Please pray as a children’s work is established in this slum area (pictured left) in Mumbai with the aim of reaching families with the Gospel and establishing a church there.

Thank God for the connections that have already been made.  Pray for financial provision and for the people on the ground to make it happen.

Pawel and Monika are UK based missionaries. They have been working in Sierra Leone for a number of years, church planting and training leaders as disciple makers.

In recent years they have pioneered work in Eastern European countries.  Pawel writes:  “We see that God is opening doors of opportunity in the Polish community here in the UK and in Poland, as well as to Lithuanians in Baltic countries.”

Please pray for the continuing work in Sierra Leone and for God to continue to lead them in bringing the love of Jesus to the Polish and Lithuanian people.

Sophie Moore from Coastlands Elim Church will be working at the ‘Be Free’ Centre in Cambodia until April 2020.

Keith McElveen will be working with our Elim Missionary Janine Stellatos at Metro World Child in Kenya until 17th September.

Lynnette Orange from the Philippines will be in Ireland from 10th September – 29th September. She will be taking some rest time as well as ministering in some of the churches here about her work.
