Thank you for joining us in prayer this week.  We acknowledge together that God is greater, that he is our hope and comfort and that he reigns over all things.

DEB ANN HUGHES (PSEUDONYM) – MIDDLE EAST

Deb Ann has been serving in the Middle East since 2014.  Placement details are limited for her protection.  The people of ‘The Oasis' is a totally unreached people group, 100% Muslim. She and her husband are the only believers in that community.
Celebrations:
  • That we can do life here in the Oasis and show God's love to the people around us -to be salt and light in this place.
  • Privileged to partner with God in this unreached place, preparing the way for Him to come...removing the stones along the highway.
  • Love the people in the Oasis.
Challenges:
  • The people of the Oasis are Salafi and so very devout.
  • Strong in their belief.
  • Please pray for a change in their thinking, mindset, and for God to change their hearts.   'I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.' Ezek 36:26
Our vision is to have a house of prayer here. So we are building the house on land that we bought.  We felt it was a garden for the Lord.
Please pray for Fathers provision and timing to complete the house and for us to move in.  When I was home in the UK during the summer I felt God was saying that this house will be His church.  Build the house and the people will come.
Thank you to everyone for praying for us and the people of the Oasis. It means a lot to us.

IAN & KATIE MOORE - MACEDONIA

From the 23rd to the 30th November we are taking a team from the Oaza church in Skopje to join Liz Face and the team in Sardu, Romania. For some of them this is their very first opportunity for international mission. Please would you pray that the team will have an impact in the community and we will be able to fulfil all that God wants to do through us while we are there.

Also please pray for safety and vehicle reliability for the journey there and back - it will take us about 12 hours to drive!

LIZ FACE - ROMANIA

Liz’s recent newsletter is full of praise of what God is doing in Romania.  Share with her in thanksgiving as well as praying for future programmes planned and for the Roma church.

JAMES & ANDREA REEVE - PHILIPPINES

Celebrations:
  • We praise God that we were given open doors to start two Alpha courses in local schools and that these, are being received well. we are having opportunities to  build relationships with the young people. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in their lives.
  • We thank God for the increased number of children at the children's clubs in different areas. Please pray for the seeds being sown into these young lives and that it will produce fruit in the future.
  • We are grateful also for the enthusiasm of some of the young people to be involved in helping at the children's clubs.
  • We praise God for the opportunity to help disciple a group of parents who have shown enthusiasm to study the bible with us on a regular basis.

Challenges:
  • To enable us to connect more with people in the local community and church we need to learn Tagalog language. Please pray as we study and practice this.
  • Please pray for opportunities to disciple regular church attendees to help them  deepen their commitment to follow Jesus in all aspects of their lives.
  • We would appreciate prayers for our current financial situation as the cost of living here on the island of Coron is higher than anticipated. Please pray for additional regular supporters to enable us to continue to do what God has called us to do here in the Philippines.
