17/11/2019 - 23/11/2019

Thank you for joining us in prayer this week.  We acknowledge together that God is greater, that he is our hope and comfort and that he reigns over all things.

-    We'd like to celebrate the success of our recent Medical/Food Distribution outreach to senior citizens with the help of medical friends from Ealing Christian Centre.  Numerous people have had the opportunity to hear the gospel, respond to the good news as well as receive practical help.

-    As part of the outreach, 25 people are receiving cataract operations to enhance their vision. One of these is a middle aged man who is completely blind in both eyes and gets led around by his 15 year old. By the time the operation is done on Tuesday 26th November, he would have received his sight, freeing his young daughter from the bondage of being a carer and enable her to pursue her own destiny.

Prayer needs:
-    Please pray for God to increase our sources of funding so that we are able to achieve all we want to for His glory.
-    As the work grows, please pray that God will provide reliable workers who share our vision and our passion to advance His work.
-    For God to soften the heart of our seniors that are Muslim, to receive Christ and His salvation.

My celebration would be we have 80 graduated students from Joseph Leadership Academy. Which is a great thing for the ministry.

My prayer would be that we are recruiting new students so please pray for potential leadership students to bring a positive change.
Daniel is originally from Eritrea one of the most persecuted countries in Africa and he is now based in the UK.  Read more about his life and how God is using him to impact his birth home:

Please pray for the challenging situation that our Elim Global Partner faces in Lebanon.  A local political party official has been shot dead by a soldier in southern Beirut, becoming the first casualty of Lebanon’s nearly month-long protest movement. Please pray for peace, resolution and protection.

  • We’ve been making headway with getting volunteers together to help us with renovating a building to be used as a retreat and ministry centre here in Hungary.
  • New connections within our local community in Hungary which have opened up new collaborative opportunities for mission.
  • Lainey’s health has improved greatly and we have been able to resume our normal ministry schedule including providing seminars, workshops and teaching at conferences across Europe.
  • For intercessors with hearts to see relationships mended. We know we need prayer support to bring breakthrough!
  • For multiplication, that we are able to effectively train others to minister to those who are struggling in their relationships.
  • For transformations as we minister. The unsaved to be saved, the saved to be discipled and the discipled to answer God’s call on their lives.

Veronika joined the Elim Missions team in June 2019.  Please pray for her in her role as Finance Officer.

“I’ve always had a soft spot for the missionary work and accounting and I feel that God has helped me and guided me to Elim Missions for this particular reason”

“… it would be lovely in general, just to pray for my family’s and my health, and general support and thank you for God guiding me to Elim Missions and supporting me through the transition.”

Sophie Moore from Coastlands Elim Church will be working at the ‘Be Free’ Centre in Cambodia until April 2020.
