Last week as I began a trip to Albuquerque for an appointment, having plugged the address into Google Maps, I realized that it was showing that I would arrive a half hour early. Not only is that a small miracle in my world (I’m much more likely to be running a half hour late!!), but it prompted me to try a small experiment.

Environmental Presentation: The Albuquerque Forum on Faith and Politics will have a presentation titled “Climate Crisis – What Can I Do?” on Sunday February 16, 2020 from 3 pm to 5 pm at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 5301 Ponderosa NE, Albuquerque. For more information, pick up a flyer in the hallway.
Steven Curtis Chapman: SCC SOLO Celebrates over three decades of music from Chapman, who is the most-awarded Christian artist and a best-selling author. This even will take place Friday, March 6 at Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe. Tickets are available on their website, lensic.org.
 

Israel/Palestine Presentation: Santa Fe Presbytery is offering a presentation titled “Seeking Peace and Justice in the Holy Land: A Palestinian Christian Perspective. The featured speaker is Rev. Alex Awad who was born and raised in Jerusalem. This event will take place on March 15 from 3 pm to 5 pm at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 5301 Ponderosa NE, Albuquerque. AED Available:  
We have recently installed an Automated External Defibrillator near the kitchen entrance. An AED is a rescue device to aid in a cardiac emergency. 
Invitation to Serve in Worship Leadership:
  The Worship Ministry Team is always happy to offer an opportunity for members and friends to participate in worship leadership, such as by filling the Liturgist role. Contact Joyce, Selma or Bob if you would like to share your gift of leadership.
First Sunday/Food Sunday for LA Cares 
On the first Sunday of each month, please bring food and other donations for LA Cares to be placed in the shopping cart in the hallway. Thank you for helping our neighbors in need!
